About Me

Soldering iron, keyboard and mouse, calipers, digital multimeter, super glue, hot glue, acrylic and HDPE, nuts and bolts, resistors, rubber bands, wood, glass, Sharpies, electrical tape, whiteboards, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hex keys, pencil and paper, computer, and the innocent leftover paperclip. These are the tools of my trade as an engineer who loves to prototype new concepts for the world of robotics.

Adventure is out there, whether it's learning a new language to program an electromechanical robotic system or updating hardware for existing consumer goods. Sometimes it's all about discovering a new use for something common you'd overlook in your box of components or finding something really nifty in a box of rejected parts.

Originally from northern California, I spent a few years in the Bay Area and Napa regions before moving to the Boulder, Colorado area in fall of 2017. In my spare time, I teach stained glass classes at the Tinkermill makerspace in Longmont, CO.
