Test Fixture, Hardware - Arm Stretch

Solidworks model of the "arm stretch" test fixture, used for setting a common position of encoders in software for each robot.

Fixture built in Boulder office, with a copy created in China for production line.

Test Fixture, Hardware - Time of Flight (TOF) Validation and Calibration

Robot as-loaded in TOF fixture

Drawer pulls out for easy robot loading. The white stripes are used for calibrating the downward-facing TOF sensors. Most surfaces covered in paint to reduce reflections of IR light.

To fabricate the housing for the Brain Board fixture (rev.K), I used a 2D CAD layout to determine hole locations based on existing components. This was used to create a laser-cut acrylic template/stencil to use on the housing.
